How long is needed to travel around southern Italy?

We are 2 girls arriving in Italy from Greece mid May. We want to travel Southern Italy and have been told to spend our time in Naples, the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento. How long do you think we would need to travel around this area at a relaxing pace? Any suggestions on things to do and see, and places to stay would be appreciated, however, we are on a restricted budget. Thank you.

1. Italy is awesome you would probably need 2 weeks to travel around, wherever you go will be fab! i'm not italian!
2. Try something different: Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria. Is easier from greece and those place are still unspoiled, stunning and welcoming. Enjoy!
