Regarding train, I don't know which one to choose because they are too many of them and the fares are a bit complicated. And I have 3 weeks to spend. This is my first time to travel to Europe. Whats the best way to travel around Europe? Im looking at heading to Europe next year to do some backpacking for 2 months.Starting in London up to Ireland, down to Portugal, across to Italy through France and Spain, down to Greece up to Slovakia, across to Austria, up to Germany, Czech, into Netherlands, Belgium, France and back to London. Is getting a Eurail pass the best way to travel between major cities or would flying be my best bet? Also wil 2 months be enough time to see all this?
Is travel to Europe in late February worth it? I'm looking to utilize some air miles I have earned and noticed that if I travel to Europe in late February I can get a discount. I would be traveling to London, Dublin, and Amsterdam. I'll be able to save 30-40% of my miles if I do the trip within that time frame, which would allow enough miles for another trip in the future -- but at the same I don't want to make the trip if the weather is terrible and makes it less enjoyable to do activites while out there. Thanks in advance!
