Travel Europe? I want to go to Europe, I don't care which country i start in. I am then going to backpack around Europe and visit different countries, I am also planning to get short term work as I travel around. I am an 18m Australian, been trying to find this out for ages and can't get a straight answer. From the tips that we read, reservation for trains are required and strongly recommended if you are travelling via Eurorail during peak season. I'll be able to save 30-40% of my miles if I do the trip within that time frame, which would allow enough miles for another trip in the future -- but at the same I don't want to make the trip if the weather is terrible and makes it less enjoyable to do activites while out there.
